More than 43,000 dozen duck eggs or 518,000 eggs have been donated to food banks and pantries across Indiana and Michigan, helping provide families experiencing food insecurity with access to nutritious, protein-rich food. Duck eggs provide a nutrient-rich food source that families facing food insecurity can use in multiple meals. And through collaboration with regional hunger-relief organizations, White Pekin duck producer Culver Duck Farms has expanded its community support efforts to address increased demand for food assistance in the surrounding community.
